The best fuse I've ever used including Hi Fi tuning, Furutech and the cheaper SR models. Well worth the money- seems a ridiculous sum to pay for a fuse but you'll grin from ear to ear if you take the plunge.

These fuses bring profound improvement to the whole gestalt of the music; an expensive but in my opinion worthwhile improvement.
The mystery is why manufacturers continue to put internal fuses in their equipment that costs pence. My amplification retailed in excess of 7K yet it has two internal fuses that cost to replace less than £2.00. Why do manufacturers hamper the ultimate performance potential of their creations by continuing to fit shoddy fuses? Why don't reviewers test the supplied equipment as it comes from the manufacturer and then fit better fuses and report on the changes. A few reviews showing up the paucity of their wares would soon cure the manufacturer of presenting such underachieving products to music playing world! Retailers should also not be considered blameless, any retailer should want to demonstrate the equipment they hope to sell to its highest potential!

Detail detail and more detail ,this is one of the main things you will notice after installing thie SR Black fuse.
I have installed this fuse in my EAR YOSHINO 890 Power amplifier, it replaced the AMR Gold fuse and is a substantial upgrade!
Beyond the increase in detail vocals are clearer and more natural, and the bass WOW deeper and tighter.
I'm currently 'slumming ' it with HIFI TUNNING SUPREAME in my dcs Paganini dac ,transport and Clock but these will be replaced with the SR BLACK. VERY SOON!
I suggest starting with the amplifier or power amp first.
Is it worth £90........100% YES!

In the past I tried several audiophile fuses with copper or silver and different treatments. I can say the SR quantum black fuse is by far the most dynamic and impulse controlled one. In addition it has a correct tonal balance. In contrast my former fuses were sounding softer in the bass that means they were not so controlled and they had an accentuation in the highs. So, with the SR Quantum black fuse I got a far greater live feeling independent of the music I am hearing. This fuse makes me curious for other products of Synergistic Research.

Those fuses are (very) expensive. It's a fact.

Are they worth their price ?
My answer is a resounding YES,considering that they push your gear's performance to an upgrade level. Cheaper than buying a high end power cable, and much more effective.

I recommend you try them on any £1500+ gear.

As soon as you fit them in place, you hear a difference.
No need for ABX test: only a deaf cannot hear a massive improvement.

A lot more detail (very impressive), pace, holographic sound stage. Bass go much deeper, treble have a texture and extent I never heard before on my system. Voices have more warmth and delicacy.

I use one fuse on a Rega Elicit R amplifier and two on a Naim Ndac.

Beware that the running-in period is about 100-200 hours, because the sound can get worse before it gets better. And the fuse can be directional: try it both ways.

I shall seek all the fuses that can be replaced on my system and will replace them as funds allow.

This product is impressive. I have tried it internally (250 mA) on a Gamut D3 pre-amp and can say that as a percentage cost of the amplifier, this is a major upgrade in resolution for very little cash outlay.

I have changed many fuses over the last year and initially struggled with the decision on how to allocate my fuse upgrade budget. This is what I have found. Spend big on your internal fuses. These fuses are an essential part of your sound chain and make a big difference. In your power cords, be more frugal. After all, the quality of the cord itself is going to limit your gains. Invest in a can of DeOxit and use it on your fuse connecting points and on the plugs.

Let me tell you, fuses (and DeOxit) are unquestionably the best value upgrades you can make. If you have lost the love in your system, you will most probably find it here and without having to junk your existing components.
