Could be deemed expensive for what it is but without one you have no chance of aligning your new cartridge properly. I have never done this before so was quite nervous having spent a bunch of money on the cartridge. With this protractor it was surprisingly easy to perfectly align the cartridge. The protractor does what it’s supposed to do and now I have one stored safely away to use the next time I change my TT cartridge.

the protractor was delivered within a couple of days and is very easy to use .since using to set up my ortofon black the cartridge is now tracking better and sounding a lot sweeter.
