Strongest Driving Force

The LCD-3 has the longest voice coil and the strongest diaphragm driving force yielding the fastest transient response of all the LCD Collection.

Audeze’s patent-pending Fazor elements improve clarity, focus and the already spectacular holographic imaging. Two Fazor elements are placed just outside the two magnet structures that surround the diaphragm. They guide and manage the flow of sound around the magnets and are standard on all LCD headphones.

An excellent headphone which is a substantial improvement over the LCD2.
Coming from Grado these headphones take a while to get used to because the sound is so much more organic, but when you do and you conduct comparisons, you will appreciate their quality and complete lack of artificiality. Analogue Seduction is a first rate company. Highly recommended.

Headphone learnings

As this is my first over the ear proper earphones it has taken me a little time to adjust to the listening experience compared to a conventional speaker set up. First up the build quality and presentation are outstanding. The listening experience is totally different to what I am used to compared to my speakers, the music is more inside your head rather than coming towards you. Once you learn to adjust to the difference then the experience is very enjoyable, very detailed and extremely good bass and the added bonus that it is more of a personal listening experience which for me adds to the occasion
