A highly underestimated part of good sound is a clean power source. Noisy, unstable AC power makes turntable motors vibrate more and cause lots of mechanical noise on the audio output. It can also affect the speed stability of an AC turntable motor, degrading the quality of the playback speed. The High Power-IT solves these problems with its superior power supply design.

The High Power-IT is a three-pole power supply with a special earthing connection, immediately eliminating all earthing problems associated with turntable-based systems. Not only does it resolve issues within the turntable, but it also improves the performance with external electronics that may not have their own "true" earth connection. The inclusion of a grounding "pole" in the power supply connector means any radio-magnetic interference (RMI) introduced into the system is also led-to ground rather than interfering with the music. 

The overall result of a High Power-IT is a vinyl hi-fi system that can work to its fullest potential. The sound stage will open up, free of unwanted electrical noise from your mains power feed.

I wanted the Pro-Ject High Power-it to go with my newly purchased X2 turntable, but couldn’t find a US vendor who had it in stock. Analogue Seduction had it in stock. They shipped it immediately and I received it very quickly…especially considering it was an international shipment. Great vendor with great service! Thanks

Stable power for turntable motor

This works great with my Pro-Ject X2 turntable. It upgrades the power wart that comes with the X2. It claims to help with grounding issues, but I doubt it actually does that. I wanted it in order to guarantee a stable motor speed so you don't hear any hint of warble in your records. It comes with the UK power plug, but you can just replace that with any standard PC-like power cable. Works great.

Bought this to replace stock power cable on Pro-Ject X1. Definite increase in sound quality across all frequencies. Very impressed, simple upgrade.

Soundly done.
The sound has changed, the sound has become cleaner, I like it.
Although I might be mistaken(the placebo effect).

Does exactly as advertised

I have an EAT B-Sharp turntable that suffered from similar ground noise issues to what I had read some Pro-Ject turntables suffer from.

As it turns out few of my stereo components are earthed and so simply by replacing the standard power supply with this, it has resolved my hum issues, very happy.
