I bought my Pro-Ject Debut III turntable in Europe. When I moved to Canada and tried to run my turntable I realized that it plays too fast. That's because of a different frequency of North American outlets (60Hz vs 50Hz in Europe). The solution was to replace the motor pulley. Pro-Ject uses a smaller diameter, like this one, for their North American models. So if you have a similar problem, this pulley works great.
