Quadraspire QX7 Floor Protectors (Pack of 4)

I have been using Quadraspire racks for about twenty years mostly with Linn Skeets. I took the opportunity to buy the QX7s at a reduced price as they were listed as B grade. They arrived very quickly as is always my experience with AS and they have indeed given the music (as well as my rack) a lift.

I have several isolation products in my £20k system. But the hifi rack its self has always been spiked into floor protectors on laminate flooring.

On installing the QX7 the sound improvement was instant and I really wasn't expecting that. Smoother and more detail deeper base. As I said I wasn't expecting much really but these are excellent.

Superb product and does what it says on the time. Heavy duty juust like the stand it supports and even with 40kg on it I can still move the table with the addition of small felt bases on a precious solid wood floor. Highly recommended as a way of solving a difficult problem.

Purchased these items based on reviews and because I needed something to protect a newly laid Amtico floor from the speaker, turntable and equipment rack stands.

System is newly serviced/ upgraded/ installed so in all honesty it is difficult to determine what has done what specifically in terms of sonic performance.

They replaced some very cheap and nasty plastic bits I bought from B&Q as a stop gap so were a very definite improvement on them.

Been upgrading my very basic quadraspire rack. Added two bamboo shelves and a bronze upgrade- verygood improvements. Then I added these tiny feet between the rack spikes and a wooden floor. I feared they might add a metallic edge, but not at all. Everything is better-tune, rhythm, soundstage and stereo image. The various improvements have radically reduced any harshness or distortion. With quadraspire it seems important not to overtighten the rack uprights or the sound can become shrill, these feet allow you to tune the rack much more precisely.
