Rega Turntable Wall Shelf

Very nicely made, my walls were not at all vertical but any half decent handyman can manage to install it. Once up it is worth the money. Pleased with my buy.

Looked at all brand shelf options. I hesitated purchasing because of no side-to-side levelling adjustment. Has front-to-back. I was lucky and screwed into solid timber and fluked level first time. Four hands better than two! Can't see success into concrete or block wall though. Maybe use solid wood backing board and screw into that. Comes with plastic philips head screws in cup threads so if using spikes can adjust level by screwing these up or down. I bought RP10 cups and pack of playing cards (shims) to use with Herbies Tenderfeet. OEM Rega feet are hollow and fit over tag on frame (housing with thread for cups - stops turntable from being knocked off frame) so no level adjusting there. I like it. Looks good with Rega deck, simple minimal, elegant.

It's black. It's light. It's easy to fit. It's perfect for a Rega turntable. It does sound better, and certainly I can walk past the turntable now without the needle bouncing all over the place!

Elegantly simple and very light. Unobtrusive in use. Too early to comment on sound as I have changed listening rooms from concrete floor in the room to a wooden floor, hence the purchase of the shelf to mount to an outside wall where I used a rack before. Only 4* because while there is vertical adjustment to level the shelf, there is no horizontal leeway. This means that when drilling into a solid wall, you have to be EXACT. Now certain wall materials can make this very difficult indeed. Rega take note...if the back fixings were slots to allow a few mm leeway it would make a difference.

Although by no means cheap, this shelf is light and simple to fit. The turntable is a perfect match, as would be expected, and seems rock solid in operation.

It is a must to have device for any Rega's deck owners. The sound improvement is amazing. Much better background noise, better bass extension and better details retrieve.

Ok this is just a box inspection report, as my plans to fit it to the lounge have been thwarted by her indoors forward planning for Christmas tree location, need a rethink, the support is very heavy, very solid and sturdy, and well made with neat welds etc, the three cup feet fit the regs feet perfectly and my only criticism is that levelling the deck/ support combination will require some pretty accurate wall fixing, if either the cups or the feet had some adjustment this would be better, however if I'm slightly out of true I'm sure some shims here and there will suffice. Purchased as part of a turntable package from Analogue Suduction, who's service, delivery and advice were all of the highest quality.

Easy to fit, and excellent performance increase. Also considerably cheaper than rival brands. Also the product is well hidden by the supported turntable.
