The Roksan RMAT-7 Upgrade mat has been designed for use on all Roksan record players with Aluminium platters.

This new mat offers an unprecedented attack in the low frequency range, without cluttering the mid-range. Voice and mid-range are in fact far more open and more natural, improving clarity and the impact in this vital area of music. What is more, the high frequency extension and clarity brings more life and realism, integrating the whole of the music with even better timing.

Great for the Original Xerxes

I bought an old Xerxes without the Mat. I used a Oyaide rubber mat but the look was not good. Wanted to add the Roksan Look and bought rhis item. Sound dimension became larger amd the heights of the tones went higher. Even the focus gets stronger for each tone. Came to the conclusion that a table like Xerxes should never be used with a heavy mat. I have another Xerxes with Ringmat and that sound is also good. I highly recommend this original Mat. Looks good sounds good.
