simple to use and very effective

I bought this arm on the strength of the two existing reviews.
Good points: The brush does a better job of removing dust than my carbon fibre hand-held brush and the effect on speed is negligible.
Bad points: The mounting spike was bent - fortunately, the metal is fairly soft and straightened easily. The height adjustment is not sufficient to give a good setup with my RP3 deck. Fortunately I had a 20mm stainless steel cylindrical weight which serves as a spacer. The weight was sufficient to save having to stick it to the plinth. This was fortunate as I can't close the cover while the mount is in place because the spike is REALLY close to the underside of the cover .
The large counter-weight was loose on its threads - a dab of Loctite Screwlok sorted that. The adjustment weight moves freely up and down the arm - I fitted a piece of rubber tube either side to hold it in place.
These are all niggling faults and not difficult to work out at the design stage so only 3 stars

The NoStatic Arm is good at removing dust while the record is playing, but that was not my priority for it. My main goal was to remove static for which it does a very good job.
