The MAX 1 loudspeaker from Unison Research has been designed for use as a stylish, compact and easy-to-drive speaker system. Its two-way, floorstanding, reflex-loaded configuration marries with the clever cabinet design to produce a wide, deep and entertaining sound stage with impressive detail.
The MAX 1 is dual-ported, with both ducts placed on the front of the cabient for improved speaker positioning in smaller rooms. The 25mm thick MDF cabinet, with substantial internal volume, is also finished in a high-quality Walnut or Mahogany finish - giving the speakers a special pride of ownership in any living space.
With a high-quality 12" main woofer and 1" compression tweeter with titanium diaphragm, managed by a purpose-designed crossover system, the MAX 1 are capable of working with a wide variety of amplification - from low-power valve solutions through to modern Solid-State and Class D offerings.
The result is a definitive loudspeaker with full extension of the low frequencies, a speaker that is capable of reproducing high sound levels while being relatively easy to blend into the listening environment. You’ll experience a clear and defined midrange and natural, extended high frequencies as well.
