Love this combination level and 45 rpm adapter.The level fits precisely atop the 45 adapter for leveling the turntable and clears the Rega P3 spindle.

For the longest time, I struggled with properly levelling my turntable. I've used many "audiophile" bubble levels, placing them in several positions around the plinth. When one side appeared to be level, another side would not be. Lots of shuffling around, and trial and error. Very time consuming and frustrating.
And then my Avid High Precision Level 45 arrived. I quickly unpacked it, then slipped it over the spindle of my turntable. It is designed to level the PLATTER correctly, which is crucial, by placing it over the spindle. Despite my tedious efforts with the "conventional" bubble levels placed on the plinth, the Avid showed that the table was off more than I expected. I started to adjust the feet on my turntable, and I was able to get it PERFECTLY LEVEL IN LESS THAN ONE MINUTE!!!
The High Precision Avid Level 45 should be in every quality turntable owner's toolbox. It is an essential setup tool. Highly recommended.

This product is extremely well made and made to last. It is however very pricey but it is worth it to me.

Most people know it's very important to correctly level a record deck but how to do it efficiently and quickly ? Avid have provided the answer with their High Precision Level. It's a well made stainless steel piece of kit which fit over the drive spindle importantly placing it in the centre of the platter. The device uses a tried and tested spirit bubble and it is very easy to see if the deck level needs any adjustment. It even comes with a 45rpm record adapter and although I am unlikely to use it, it's a nice touch.
A little tip from me, if the feet on your deck don't give you fine enough adjustment make thin shims out of photocopier paper.

Best place to level the turntable is over the spindle. This fits over the spindle and also weighs 180g to replicate the weight of an album.
There’s also a 45rpm adaptor.
Excellently machined and finished, highly recommended and is useful elsewhere too.

First very fast sending and very well packed. So we come to the Avid himself, this tool exist out two peaces one is the leveler the other the adaptor. They fit perfectly on a in my case Acoustic Solid record player the hole of the adaptor is quite deep 0.641 inch or 16.28 mm, the leveler is perfect in mesurement of the player. I would recommend this tool to everyone with a record player.

A high quality piece of precision tuning kit BUT beware: if you have a turntable with a high spindle (e.g. for a screw on clamp), this might not fit.
