Unfortunately I was unable to purchase this cartridge from AS however, I feel a review is still in order. I read that this was suitable for medium mass arms like that fitted to pioneer's PL12D and other vintage kit, so I thought why not and I was not disappointed. Apart from the fact it is fiddly to fit to the headshell due to the long fixings setup was relatively simple. I used the weight supplied as this is a very light cartridge. Sound via single ended was crystal clear with great midrange and a very good detailed bottom end, quite impressive considering its fitted to a 49 year old turntable. Moving to XLR the sound gained more depth, punch, and musicality and I found myself tapping my feet to more and more songs. This cartridge really does get you in the swing so to speak. As a moving coil its a superb alternative to the usual MM such as your Shure's, Grado's, Goldring's, AT's etc etc for vintage kit and won't disappoint. I'm glad I bought one and so to are my records.
