Grado Reference Signature 1 Moving Iron Phono Cartridge
The Grado Reference1 is a high performance moving magnet cartridge which puts more expensive moving coil cartridges to shame. the elliptical stylus offers excellent sound reproduction. Because of the integrated nature of the design replacement styli cannot be purchased for this cartridge, they must be factory replaced.
The newly redesigned Signature has its coil design reconfigured, and the effective moving mass of its generating system has been reduced by 17%. All this is hand-assembled within a machined, new processed, ABS housing
The Grado Reference Signature Phono Cartridge uses a modified four piece OTL cantilever technology achieving a 10% tip mass reduction over the Prestige series and ultra-high purity long crystal oxygen-free copper wire in the coils.
