Caig DeoxIT Gold Contact Cleaning Fluid

DeoxIT® GOLD is a unique conditioning solution that improves conductivity and provides long-lasting protection on gold, base metals and other precious metal contacts and connections (gold, silver, rhodium, copper, bronze, nickel, etc.).

Use on plated connectors, contacts and metal surfaces for maximum performance and protection. Recommended for critical applications where only slight cleaning action is necessary. If the surface looks clean, applying DeoxIT contact cleaner first is usually not necessary. DeoxIT® GOLD is designed to dissolve small amounts of oxidation. Apply DeoxIT® GOLD after DeoxIT® contact cleaner on plated metal surfaces, except where noted with DeoxIT® SHIELD below.

The more critical the connection or part, especially low current applications, DeoxIT® GOLD should be the final step.

Good things come in small packages, a little goes a long way... as long as you pre-clean, wipe dry and then lightly apply the Deoxit Gold, this really does work 👍 Genuinely makes a difference by improving the clarity and tonality of the sound emanating from your system, making listening a more pleasurable experience. And for only a tenner (p&p added) a win win 👌😎

I give it 4 stars, instead of 5, because of the price. I have been treating all the jacks and plugs with it for a few years and they stay bright for a long time.

The best demonstration of it's effectiveness was with unterminated copper speaker wires. I live in a damp and salty climate and the strands will stay bright for a couple years if they have been treated with DeOxit Gold.
