This shelf indeed helps remove unwanted resonances in a room with the floor prone to some vibration and surpasses quite expensive audio racks in doing so. I would say, one properly installed, it does this perfectly or very close to perfect. Amazing improvements in sound, transparent bass and smooth midrange and heights. Anti-scating and VTF become very easy to adjust to optimum values owing to very transparent sound. The resolution and dynamics are enhanced
notably, which is first of all evident when listening to large string and brass sections. The only problem one can face is to secure perfect level while drilling and installing the shelf. In addition to bottom bolts and nuts one could also need washers for the top part, which are missing in the set.
