Over the past several years there has been a revolution in the way people store, share and access digital media, including photographs, movies and music. Solid 0.5% Silver Conductors
Solid conductors eliminate strand-interaction distortion and reduce jutter. Solid silver plated copper conductors are excellent for very high frequency applications, for example, Ethernet audio. These signals, being such a high frequency travel exclusively on the surface of the conductor. As the surface is made of high purity silver, the performance is vert close to that of a solid silver cable, but priced a lot closer to solid copper cables. This is a very cost effective solution to manufacture very high quality Ethernet cables.
Solid High Density Polyethylene Insulation
Any solid material next to a conductor is actually part of an imperfect circuit. Wire insulation and circuit board materials all absorb energy. Some of this energy is stored and then released as distortion. This High Density Polyethylene Insulation ensures critical signal pair geometry while minimizing insulation induced phase distortion.
Directionality
All audio cables are directions. The correct direction is determined by listening to every batch of metal conductor used in every AudioQuest cable. Arrows are clearly marked onto the connectors to ensure excellent sound quality. For the best results, have the arrow pointing in the direction of the flow of music.
