About the amp

The Melody Pro88 MKII  integrated tube amplifier is one of the newest additions to Melody’s product range. This tube amp offers an output power of 2×50 watts in Class AB amplification. The Pro88 MKII is our mid-range integrated amp and for this price range you get velvet smooth sound with some punch. Only the best materials such as Mundorf Caps are used which results in an unparalleled sound reproduction. From the inside and outside the Pro88 MKII is developed to meet the highest of today’s standards.

It is driven by 4x KT120 power amplification tubes and with it’s 2x 60 watts a great tube amp for those who wish to experience their music with a punch like never before. Take a look at our tubes page to see an overview of all tubes and their specific sound in the amps. The Pro88 MKII is due to it’s power able to drive a very large array of speakers. It is also possible to use different power end tubes like the KT150.

Just like all Melody amps (except the Action series) the Pro88 MKII has this very simplistic but also refined quality to it’s build. Offering you only the best tube sound without being too shiny or in your face bulky. With quality light-wooden sides and a silver aesthetic it surely looks great in every hifi setup.

General information

Melody Hifi produces all amps by hand with the finest point-to-point wiring. Bias control is accessible on top of the amplifier panel with true ampere meter.
The Melody Pro88 MKII has a soft start and time-delay circuit of 30 seconds.
As the Melody Hifi distributor for Europe we offer a 1000 day warranty on the amplifier and 6 months on all tubes.

All products on this website are Australian tube amplifiers. Melody Hifi has it’s headquarters in Australia where it also practices R&D and all other inquiries. The amplifiers are produced in a well known tube amplifier factory in Shenzhen where all staff follows strict testing and production protocols. Melody however also places importance on the well-being of their personnel and maintains a people-oriented environment.
