Sennheiser HD650 Replacement Cable 3.0m

I bought this as a replacement/upgrade for my HD600. My original cable had stopped working.

The cable is thicker than the one that comes with the HD600 and terminates in a 6.3 jack as opposed to the 3.5 on the HD600 cable, which I prefer as I am plugging in to a 6.3 socket, so I don't have to use an adaptor.

It does sound different to the HD600 cable, I prefer the sound but as always this is subjective as to whether it is better!

The only thing I don't like is the connectors that plug in to the headphones are both black labeled L & R, I prefer the black and red of the HD600 cable which makes it quicker to check you have the headphones the right way

I was having trouble with my Sennheiser HD650s, the sound was cutting in and out. I wasn’t sure whether replacing the cable would fix the problem but I took the chance and it was the right choice. The replacement cable is just as good as the original and now it’s all working perfectly again. Very pleased with it.

This is very nicely made, easy to fit and a worthwhile upgrade in sound quality (IMHO!).
