I own a SME 20/2 turntable and would like to replace the old alignment protractor by a new one more platicized, solid, just like the anti skating adjustment tool. Looking at the picture, I thought it was the case but it’s not and I am a little disappointed.

This was very straightforward to use. Most of these tools require one to point a printed line at the tonearm pivot point which can be a bit arbitrary without additional tools. For this gauge you look down to be sure the tonearm is centered within the parallel lines and then drop the needle in the X and adjust as needed. Since the headshell for this tonearm is not slotted, the proper setup can be a bit more involved, so it's nice that the gauge is easy to use. Recommended if you have this SME 309 tonearm.
