Much easier to use hex bolts than screws to fix cartridge. Quite expensive - particularly if you already have a suitable allan key.

and I like having the Allen key screws, rather a fiddly small screwdriver.

I much prefer hex (Allen?) screws/bolts to the ordinary screws for mounting cartridges. The screws are so small and fiddly that a normal screwdriver is difficult to handle, but luckily we have the hex key, I love it.
