The Signature range of headshells are high quality headshells made by Pro-Ject Audio Systems, suitable for standard SME mount tonearms. Each headshell in the range is created from a different material, giving it its own signature sound characteristic.

The Aluminium Signature Headshell is supplied as standard with Pro-Ject Signature turntables and tonearms. Boasting a high-gloss finish, its sturdy, higher-mass construction works perfectly with high-end cartridges.

Also available in the range are a Carbon Fibre and Wood version.

Almost substandard, probably is.

Mine came with the Signature 10 turntable.
The headshell needed a 1.3mm hexagonal key that Pro ject convenietly failed to include.
Had to buy one. The hex key was cheap. Exactly my point, it is so cheap that
Project could more than afford to include a £1 hex key for the Azimuth adjustment.
The adjustment itself proved that this headshell wasn't engineered properly. It wasn't confidence inspiring.
Buy with caution.

nice product, disappointing quality!

This is a well made and attractive headshell. However, the quality is let down by the fact that there is no protection ring fitted to the connector plug (designed to protect over-tightening of the headshell in the tonearm) AND the cartridge tails were all misaligned. Disappointing for a headshell selling for £100!
