Purchased a set of these assuming that the threads on my Gallo TR-2 subwooferwould be the same as the very similar Gallo TR-1 subwoofer (which specified these on the IsoAcoustics list). It turned out that I didn't need them: the M6 thread inserts included in the Gaia iii set were all that I required.

I needed 3/8”-16 adapters for IsoAcoustics Gaia II in order to mount them to Vandersteen Model 2Ce. The adapters arrived fast and in the original IsoAcoustics packaging. The price on this site is the best by far compared to everywhere I looked. I even asked IsoAcoustics how much would it cost for them to send me the adapters and they said it would cost me much more than I paid here. Highly recommended!

While the review will be limited to the screws, you would think that purchasing a Gaia II footer for £300 a set (you need 2), IsoAcoustic would include the appropriate thread size for speakers up to 55 KG in weight, unfortunately that's not the case. I haven't encountered speakers in the 40-55 KG group with feet/spike in M6 thread size, omit the M6 and ¼-20 screws and include M10 and M12 instead...I digress, back to the thread adapters:

The are finished to a high standard which is typical of IsoAcoustics products, no burrs, nicks, or machining marks, beautifully made. Threads in nicely and fits perfectly, and included are the required knurled and hex nuts pre-assembled.

Installation is a pretty straightforward process, the results are very noticeable. There's a YouTube video by Terry showcasing these footers installed on the same speakers I'm using (Focal Kanta II) and another set of Kanta's with just the stock feet, if the difference is noticeable on YT, then imagine how much of an improvement it is in person!

Do note though that the IsoAcoustic logo on each footer must align with the listening position! There's a reason for this: The footers move slightly side to side, but not front to back. This is to do with the way the footers are constructed with different layers inside, and the way it operates. isolating the speakers from bass frequencies traveling back from the flooring to the speaker cabinet, which would colour the speaker making the bass quite wooly and loose, and mids constrained.
