The Accu Box S2 is a high-end, accu-driven power supply designed to deliver, clean power to selected Pro-Ject products. Thanks to its incredible synergy with Pro-Ject’s phono products, it can improve your analogue sound system immeasurably when used to power one of the coveted Pro-Ject Phono Box range. There is also a 5V USB output, for some other S2 Series products, such as the popular Pre Box S2 Digital.

Using Accu Box S2 results in a more homogenous and spacious sound with better separation and imaging. The sound will arrive feeling cleaner, delivering a more relaxed listening experience with greater control.

The Accu Box S2 uses five cells of rechargeable Li-Pol batteries with a capacity of 2.5Ah. To ensure a long life for the batteries, it is also designed with over-charge, over-discharge and over-current protection built-in. There are also LED indicators to show the charging and mains status of the box.

The Accu Box S2 is a true high-end offering in the affordable audiophile realm, bringing clean battery power in particular to phono stages that would normally not have such a high-end solution available to them.

Impressive power supply

I bought an Accu Box S2 for my phono box S3 B to replace the standard wall wart. I have to say the difference is quite remarkable. For such a little device it sure does improve things by quite a margin, but the most impressive thing is the way it opens up the music and give a far bigger three dimensional sound stage. Well worth the money. Once again my thanks to the team at AS for their advice as I wasn't sure this would work on 18vdc S3 equipment, but it does and it works brilliantly.

Accu Box S2

I am using this in conjunction with the Phono Box S2 Ultra. The Accu Box makes a really worthwhile improvement in the sound. The soundstage is larger, better defined, and with a lot more 'air' around the individual performers. Sound is more natural and convincing, and bass more tuneful (and a tad deeper as well). Greater detail in instrumental textures, and the recorded acoustic is more apparent in decent recordings. Worth the money IMHO.

Used with phono box s2. Improved an already good performance considerably.I now realise what is meant by "black silence". Hearily recommended.

Pro-ject Accu Box S2

Got this to go with a Tube Box S2 as have read the improvement it can make. Was a little sceptical as it’s only a power supply after all but must say I think it does ‘what it say’s on the tin’, sound has improved, seems more spacious and improved definition. Service from A S impeccable as always.
