8.6 project carbon evo tonearm 30 October 2024 | Grant
Purchased as an upgrade of the 8.6 aluminium tonearm on my Pro-ject recordmaster II.
Reasonably easy changeover required no modifications, just some careful soldering.
Whilst the the argument of carbon vs. aluminium is highly subjective, I found a noticeable improvement in noise reduction and balance (especially the mids and lows). To my ears, the sound of the carbon is more pleasing than the aluminium.

I installed it as soon as I got it, it is in mint condition and it sounds great 👍

I received the package quickly, but I had to pay €38 for customs duties, plus the support and weight of the antiscating is missing
