Quadraspire Q6014 Speaker Stands

Our design principles of curves with non ferrous metals have gone in to develop the Q6014 speaker stand. A bamboo centre column firmly joined to a solid base and top plate offer a very natural and open sound. Gentle curves and a laid back stance make it very easy for close wall proximity. For speakers with a larger footprint the Q6018 will offer better stability. An all black version is also available.

Features:

Speaker stands 600mm (24”) tall, available in Bamboo or Black finish.
Speaker stands supplied with 140mm (5.5”) wide (Q6014) top plate, optional 180mm (7”) wide plate available as an extra.
Speaker stands supplied with choice of spikes and bump-on feet.
Centre speaker stands available in Bamboo or Black finish.

The stands are self-assembly, Ikea style, but it is a simple job. They can be assembled with the column leaning slightly back or forward, likewise the tapered base. It's important to get the position of the speaker right. My B&W PM1s almost toppled the stand over backwards, their big, heavy magnet the culprit. The stands, being made of mdf are very light, but well damped. Also easy to move around! Fit and finish is very good, blu-tac used on the top plate rather than the adjustable studs may be difficult to remove from the stippled finish. How do they sound? Great! I prefer the PM1s on them to their dedicated stands. At the moment they are hosting my Neat Ministras - they make a perfect match. Recommended.
