While the mat supplied with a Nottingham Analogue Spacedeck is satisfactory, this turntable's platter's sound reproduction can be tuned to provide more impactful sound by using this BR12 mat - bass reproduction is better defined than with the 6mm Achromat previously installed. Placing two, SME cartridge collet washers on the spindle, between the BR12 mat and LP, improved definition when the LP is held in place by a 750gms Project Pro Puck also available from Analogue Seduction. Highly recommended mat for Nottingham Analogue platters.

Using this on a REGA P3 with EXACT cart. Excellent mat tightens up the sound.A1 service from the guys at A.S. as always.

I have to admit that whoever designed this mat is a genius. In fact, in addition to eliminating the electrostatic charge, thanks to its slightly conical shape combined with a stabilizer, it improves the reproduction of slightly wavy records. So I recommend it.
I've replaced the original mat on my Technics SL-1200 GR. It makes a hell of a difference (in a positive way). Better ease, better bass and more detail. I've just the Oyaide BR-one as a kund of sub-mat.
Maybe it's an upgrade for the Technics turntable, but, for my analog system, Nottingham and Origin Live, it works very well, much better than other mat.

The Oyiade exudes real quality manufacturing - in a way that the stock mat on my Technics SL1200G did'n't - and I bought it to get an extra couple of mm up at the headshell end, to help with setting VTA in a 17mm high cartridge.

Purchased this as the final step in an audiophile upgrade of a Technics SL1200. Significant improvement to SQ from the cork platter matt I had on previously (which itself was a lot better than a felt Dj slipmat!). BR-12 seems to do a very good job of reducing the 'ringing' resonance of the SL-1200 platter. Tightens up the sound admirably. Very happy.

I purchased this mat because I was unhappy with the thin felt mat that was provided with the Rega RP10 deck. I found that it kept sticking to the record every time I removed a record from the platter and I also didn't like the white colour of it. After careful research of possible suitable alternative black mats I was impressed with the write-up on the BR-12 and purchased one. Even on the first play of a record after installing it I was amazed at the improved sound, better bass and better grip of the record. Clearly, a lot of thought has gone into the design as it has a central recess for the record label and the 1 degree slope really helps to give maximum support to the record, especially if it is not completely flat. Not a cheap product but it certainly does what the manufacturer's claim and the improved grip, better sound and a very professional look make it a very worthwhile purchase.
