I couldn't tell any shift in sound personally, but my table is currently suffering from static buildup that occured with previous mat. This has definitely improved that. Also using on a Rega P3, it really compliments the glass platter which other mats tend to hide. Really like it personally.

The turntable mat was packaged very well. Therefore it came all the way to the Netherlands in mint condition. My Rega Planar 2 looks absolutely stunning now! (Would have posted a pic if I could on this site). Soundwise I have the impression it sounds a little bit darker. Which I appreciate as both the turntable and my speakers (Monitor audio bronze 2) lean toward the bright side.
