Analogue Studio Crystal Glass Turntable Platter Mat

Please Note: This mat is not suitable for Technics SL1200 turntable

As many an audiophile knows, what you put on top of your platter, affects the sound you get out of the groove.

This Crystal Glass platter mat is 298mm diameter, which will fit almost any turntable, 6mm thick to maximise the effect of the material and minimise any vibration absorbtion or distortion, and has a 0.5mm cut out in the area of the record label, to ensure full contact between the record and the platter mat surface during playback. Weighing in at approx 1kg, this substantial turntable mat ensures you hear everything that is on your record.

I liked the prompt delivery to my overseas address. The glass mat was well packaged and arrived in perfect condition. I'm using it directly on my 9kg aluminium platter to damp out any 'ringing'. Well worth the cost in my view.

Crystal glass mat

In few words: this crystal mat stands so nice on my technics SL 1200 mk2 platter. What I didn't expect is the effect on the sound. Smoother end clearer highs end more sense of depth. A good purchase in my opinion.

Glass turntable platter

Just receive it - this is my second order from Analogue Seduction and have to admit that service is professional and accurate - well done and please continue like that.

I put glass platter on my TT and have say only - it looks very nice and ''on first glance'' sound better - it will take time and long listening sessions but I am sure that this is improvement for my hifi system.
